Great Place to Work® Greater China Conference and Best Companies to Work For® Awards Ceremony 2018

The main theme for the conference was “multigenerational workforce”, where Great Place to Work® gathered a very targeted, high level and strategic group of more than 200 people, with the participation of CEOs, Operation VPs and Regional HR director speakers, making it one of the best annual conferences regarding building Great Workplaces.

Great Place to Work®Institute organized its Conference and ‘Best Companies to Work for® in Greater China Awards Ceremony 2018’ with the invaluable support WINGs and HRoot. The event was held at the Langham Hotel, Xintiandi, Shanghai. Great Place to Work® Institute not only brought a new experience to the guests, but also helped to increase the awareness and understanding of the value of a Great Workplace in the China market while addressing how to build a solid workplace culture and all the benefits that come with it.

The conference focused on the “Multigenerational Workforce and Its Challenges”. In order to let everyone understand the establishment of workplace environment relationships between generations and management, we invited speakers from Cisco, Coca-Cola, FMC, Metathink and Mars, as well as StarMaker to address the latest trends and developments in the workplace culture, and to help people better understand how to balance the needs of different age groups.

During the event, 335 corporate CEOs, presidents, human resources directors, and human resources professionals participated in our activities.

Later that evening, The Awards Ceremony was held at same location. The “Best Companies to Work for®” list in Greater China is evaluated using the Trust Index© and Culture Audit© scores from participating companies. In the end, 36 multinational companies made it to the list. The awarded companies will be able to enjoy the “Best Companies to Work for®” logo for one year and will have a feature published in Bloomberg Businessweek. Mr. Jose Carlos Bezanilla, CEO of Greater China at Great Place to Work® Institute, said: “I am very happy to have more companies certified as Best Workplaces®.
